The primary objective for Academic Technology is to provide end-user training and support and maximizing academic uses of technology at Gallaudet University including but not limited to online learning, help desk, streaming video resources, video production, and classroom technology/media services. Academic Technology has three offices: Director's Office, eLearning and Video Services, and Media and Classroom Technology.

Working collaboratively with Information Technology Services (ITS), Academic Technology provides technology support to the community through an integrated campus-wide helpdesk (http://helpdesk.gallaudet.edu).

Our Mission

Academic Technology provides instructional and technical support for Gallaudet's online learning and academic systems and is dedicated to enhancing the Gallaudet community's academic success through uses of technology.
